Production and storage
How much your habitats make, how long their storage lasts and how to collect it.
Every beast working in a habitat makes its family's material: Meadow beasts make Bloomthread, Ember beasts Cinderstone, Tide beasts Tidepearl, Highland beasts Stormshard and Canopy beasts Wildsap. A beast in your Reserve makes nothing. Each habitat stores what its beasts make until you collect it.
How much a beast makes
A working beast finishes a cycle every 50 seconds and makes 1 material a cycle. Its Production trait speeds the cycle up and raises the amount, so an adult makes between 61 and 87 an hour.
| Production trait | 1 | 3 | 5 | 7 | 8 | 9 | 10 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| One adult, per hour | 61 | 66 | 72 | 78 | 81 | 84 | 87 |
| Three adults, per hour | 183 | 199 | 216 | 234 | 243 | 252 | 261 |
These things change the rate:
- Growth stage. A newborn makes half as much as an adult and an adolescent three quarters.
- Refinement. Ranks 1, 2, 3 and 4 add 2%, 4%, 7% and 10%. See Refinement.
- Care. A finished care round adds 5% to that habitat for 30 minutes. See Care.
- An adult Nexavyr. Placed in a habitat's Legendary slot, it adds 5% to every habitat on your island.
- Harvest Festival. While this store booster runs, every habitat on the server makes 15% more, offline time included.
Storage
Each habitat holds 2,600 of its material. When it is full it stops producing until someone collects. The island upgrade Storage I raises every habitat to 3,900 and Storage II to 5,200; see Island upgrades.
| Storage | Each habitat holds | Full after, 3 adults at Production 5 | Full after, 3 adults at Production 10 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base | 2,600 | 12 hours | 10 hours |
| Storage I | 3,900 | 18 hours | 15 hours |
| Storage II | 5,200 | 24 hours | 20 hours |
While you are offline
Habitats keep producing for 24 hours after the last time anyone from your island was online. After that they pause until someone comes back. With Storage II a full habitat holds about a day of output, so a player who collects once a day loses nothing.
Picking a habitat up pauses it too. It starts again when you place it.
Collecting
/collect collects every habitat at once, straight into your island's storage. /production shows what each habitat holds, its rate and how long it takes to fill. Every co-op member can collect, whatever their role.
