Selling to the server
What you can sell for Islemarks, at what price, and how the daily rate works.
/sell turns stored materials and fish into Islemarks. Sold materials can't be bought back, so keep what you need for breeding and unlocks.
What sells, and for how much
| Item | Price each |
|---|---|
| Bloomthread, Cinderstone, Tidepearl, Stormshard and Wildsap | 1 Islemark |
| Common fish | 1 Islemark |
| Uncommon fish | 2 Islemarks |
| Rare fish | 6 Islemarks |
| Trophy fish | 25 Islemarks |
| Great catch | 120 Islemarks |
Nothing else sells to the server. Lineage Charms, Keystone Fragments, bait, spoils, offerings, lures, rods, beasts and eggs can only go to other players, and blocks are never bought back.
The daily rate
The price drops as your island sells more in one day. The count covers materials and fish together, is shared by everyone on the island, and starts again at 00:00 UTC.
| Units already sold today | You get |
|---|---|
| The first 1,000 | The full price |
| The next 3,000 | Half the price: 1 Islemark per 2 materials |
| Everything after 4,000 | A quarter: 1 Islemark per 4 materials |
Selling 2,000 materials in a day pays 1,500 Islemarks, 4,000 pays 2,500 and 9,000 pays 3,750. Fractions carry over within the day, so nothing is lost by selling in small amounts. Fish follow the same count: once you are past 1,000 units, a great catch pays its 120 on every second one.
Selling only the surplus
Sell surplus sells all of a material except what you still need: enough for one breeding or one Lineage Charm, 60, or what your pinned quest or next goal still needs, whichever is more. Each co-op member sees their own amount. For fish it sells them all.
In a co-op
Selling needs the permission to sell island items. By default only the Owner has it; the Owner can give it with the Trader preset. See Co-op roles.
