Island rules
The game rules on islands and everywhere else: keeping your items, monsters, fire, redstone limits and visitors.
Beastbound changes some vanilla rules to keep play relaxed and builds safe. /rules shows the same list in the game.
Everywhere
- You never lose items or experience when you die, on any server.
- There is no hunger: your food bar stays full.
- Players can only fight each other in an accepted duel.
On islands
- The void. Falling off returns you to your island's arrival point, or the nearest free spot. Visitors are returned too.
- No monsters. Hostile mobs never spawn on islands, spawners included.
- Animals are welcome. Within the island's limits below.
- Builds are safe. Fire doesn't spread or burn blocks, and explosions break nothing. Fire, lava, magma and explosions don't hurt anyone.
- Craft, farm and fish. Vanilla crafting, farming and fishing all work and give building materials. They never give Islemarks, and vanilla items can't be sold to the server.
- Cobblestone generators work as in vanilla.
- Redstone works. Redstone, hoppers, pistons and flowing water and lava work inside your island, but never across its edge.

Who builds where
You build only inside your own island's border; borders make it bigger. Every member of a co-op can build on its island, whatever their role. Visitors can't place or break blocks, open containers or use doors and buttons. Nobody builds in the Haven.
