Profiles and islands
How many islands you can have, what each one keeps, your milestone level, and deleting an island.
A profile is one island, with its own beasts, habitats, materials, Islemarks, quests and milestones. The game calls it your island. You can play several, alone or with friends, and switch between them with /profile.
How many islands
- Every account can create 2 islands, the second from your first breeding on. The Additional Profile upgrade in the store adds one more each, up to 5.
- To accept a co-op invitation you must be in fewer than 2 islands, counting the ones you own and the ones you joined. Store slots don't raise this.
What each island keeps
| Belongs to the island, shared with its co-op | Belongs to you on that island |
|---|---|
| Beasts, eggs and the Archive | Inventory, armour and ender chest |
| Habitats and everything built | Experience levels |
| Islemarks and stored materials | Skills |
| Quests, unlocks and milestones | Your pinned project |
Switching islands swaps your inventory, armour, ender chest and experience to that island's set, and members of a co-op each keep their own. Store purchases belong to your account and work on every island you play.
Milestones and level
Your island's level counts its milestones; there is no experience bar. There are 17, reached through quests and family unlocks: Breeding, Trading, the Ember, Tide, Highland and Canopy unlocks, each family's mastery, Nexavyr access and each family's second mastery. /progression lists them with what each one opens.
Deleting an island
An Owner who is alone on an island can delete it with /profile delete while standing on it. Its beasts, eggs and storage go with it, it can't be undone, and the slot is freed. An island with other members can't be deleted: hand it to one of them and leave; see Leaving, removing and handing over.
